Yes. We recommend the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when you use the lawn mower to ensure you are following safe practice. The equipment we outline as mandatory in our Hazard Assessment sheet includes foot protection (appropriate footwear), ear protection, protective clothing and a face shield. These all protect the user from flying debris, exposure to high volumes of noise and injury.
As it’s a 4-stroke engine lawn mower, the oil and fuel are separate. We’ll check and top up the oil level before you hire the equipment so you can ensure it runs smoothly.
Generally, we consider the cleaning of mud in our hire costs. However, if other stains or materials cannot be easily removed (such as concrete), this will incur additional cleaning charges. It is therefore recommended to return your equipment as clean as possible.
To hire our equipment, you will need a Mastercard or Visa card for payment and a current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
